Q. Can you tell us about your country?
I am originally from Nepal – the land of the Himalayas. But for the past 7 seven years, I have been living in Japan (for study purposes) and it feels like a second home to me.
The first few things that come to my mind about Japan are how clean and safe the country feels. From incredible food, beautiful temples, efficient transportation to pristine natural scenery, Japan is a beautiful country.
Q. Please describe your skin type
I have dry to combination skin which is pretty sensitive to exfoliating chemicals like AHAs and Vitamin C.
Q. What’s your most favorite product from ours, and how many have you used so far?
Oh, I have many favorite products from Jumiso. But the one product that I have repurchased many times is the Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum. I am currently using my 8th bottle of this serum. Love it SO MUCH!!
Q. What do you like about that product and how does it feel when you use it?
Since I am sensitive to most vitamin C products, I have to rely hugely on other alternative brightening ingredients.

Q. What was your skin concern when you found us?
I was looking for a gentle brightening serum that could help me with my hyperpigmentation and skin damage from the sun. Luckily, I found Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum and since then, I have been using the serum religiously for more than 2 years.
Q. Please describe your skincare routin
My skincare routine is pretty much the same, meaning I always do a double cleanse first, follow it up with a wash-off mask, then the routine toner, ampoules/serums, eye cream, moisturizers, and a sleeping mask/facial oil. On some days, I like to add LED facial light therapy.
Q. What made you fall in love with skincare?
Back in 2016, when I first started using Kbeauty products, I was fascinated with the results. The whole 10-step K-Beauty routine soon became a skincare ritual for me. For all my skincare purchases, I relied heavily on the reviews made by other beauty bloggers. After trying a bunch of skincare products, I wanted to share my experiences and reviews with others and that’s how I started my skincare blogging on Instagram in 2019. Just like me, many skincare enthusiasts enjoyed reading my reviews and experiences. With each skincare product, I was not only learning about the product itself but I was also learning about the ingredients and their benefits. I immediately turned into a skincare geek. When I first started my skincare blogging on Instagram, little did I know then that I would fall deeper in love with this hobby of mine. What merely started as a platform to share my experiences soon turned into a passionate hobby as I could implement my love for skincare with my passion for photography.
Q. Is there any reason for you to love skincare products from foreign countries?
Personally, I love Kbeauty products and I feel they are more superior than other US brands or Jbeauty brands.
Q. Which Jumiso product would you recommend to those with similar skin type or concerns?
For those looking for a gentle brightening serum, the Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum would be perfect. This serum is a very beginner-friendly brightening serum. For those who enjoy gel cleansers, All Day Vitamin Clean & Mild Facial Cleanser is a must try. Also, the Waterfull Hyaluronic Line (toner + cream) is great for those who seek lightweight yet nourishing products. I feel this line will suit all skin types.
Q. What do you like to do during the weekends?
Weekends are the only time I can do photo shoots and create content for IG. So most of my weekends are spent shooting content for clients/IG.
Q. Due to Covid-19, we spend more time at home. What do you usually do when you stay home?
Since I work in the medical field, I never got a chance to experience a work-from-home situation. But on holidays when I am at home, I mostly do photography-related work or do some sightseeing.
Q. Can you recommend any song/travel destination/movie from your country?
I am a huge music buff. I love listening to all genres of music. A Japanese song I would recommend others to listen to is ‘Shimanchu no Takara’ by Begin, a nice melodious song from Okinawa.
As for travel recommendations, I think Japan has many dream-worthy travel destinations. My favorites are Osaka, Sapporo, Kyoto, and Okinawa
Unfortunately, I am not into anime movies and neither do I watch Japanese movies, so I cannot recommend any.
Q. Message to viewers and Jumiso community
Skincare routine need not be complicated and stressful. Whether doing a full 10-step Korean skincare routine or a minimal routine, always listen to what your skin needs. Having a good skincare routine surely can be beneficial but this should not stop you from embracing your natural self. Be kind to yourself and everyone around you.
